Symbolism of the egg. the egg symbolizes Genesis the perfect microcosm.  a universal symbol for the mystery of original creation. it encloses nascent life to emerge from it. It embodies the idea of rebirth and rejuvenation in the cycle of life, reflected also in its shape, with neither beginning nor end.

Life bursting from the primordial silence. Few simple natural objects have such an self-explanatory yet profound meaning and the body of myth and folklore that surrounds the egg is huge.

In many creation myths ranging from Egypt and India to Asia and Oceana a cosmic egg sometimes fertilized by a serpent but more often laid in the primordial waters by a giant bird gives form to chaos and from it hatches the sun symbolized by the Golden yolk the division of earth and Sky and life and all forms.

Creation symbolism is strengthened by the egg shape to testicles and by the sexual  duality of eggs yolk and white in the region of the Congo the yellow yolk stood for Female warmth while the white stood for male sperm.

Ancient Egypt, an egg was revered as the origin of the world. One version of the creation myth mentions the cosmic egg hatching the ‘bird of light’. aspect within the Ogdoad is the Cosmic Egg, from which all things are born. Life comes from the Cosmic Egg; the sun god Ra was born from the primordial egg in a stage known as the first occasion

In Hindu myth the cosmic tree girls from the Golden egg witch board brahma.

Similarly, the egg is linked with resurrection, the Phoenix dying, and fire rose from its own egg. The God Dionysus was shown carrying egg as a symbol of his rebirth.

Associated in pre-Christian times with the promise and hope of spring, the egg took a readymade place in Christian Easter ceremonies as a symbol of resurrection.

In Dogon mythology (West Africa): "In the beginning, Amma, alone, was in the shape of an egg: the four collar bones were fused, dividing the egg into air, earth, fire, and water, establishing also the four cardinal directions.

This number  8 would be significant as its represents the 4 Ogdoad pairs Kuk and Kauket, Huh and Hauhat, Nun and Naunet, Amun and Amaunet.

Within this cosmic egg was the material and the structure of the universe, and the 266 signs that embraced the essence of all things.

In Later Kemetic mythology is it revealed that in inside the great egg is the the God Ra.

Once upon a time, before there was land, fish, animals, or human life, there was the great expansion of primordial waters that encompassed the Universe.  Nothing existed in these primordial waters since the beginning of time, until a great egg appeared in the water.  This egg contained a living God by the name of Ra.  Once his egg hatched, he burst forth into the Universe and took his place as its great ruler.

In this scenario we also see the significance of Ra as representing the number 9 which is the number of Completion. As Amma was 1 the beginning, he was 9 the completion and thus a new stage of life is entered. The egg containing all the elements from start to finish for it is the cycle of life.

The Heart and Tongue – How God Created the Cosmos.

The power of the spoken word is significant in the creation of the world in many mythologies.

In Kemetic beliefs its is Atum the Hidden god who is created with creation.

Atum himself is a product of the Vibration created by the Primordial beings of the Ogdoad cosmology. He becomes self-aware and speaks himself into existence.

With the help of the Ogdoad he would create all other things.

The intellectual powers that enable the creator to bring him or herself into existence and to create all other beings with sometimes conceptualize as deities.

The most important of these gods were Sia, Hu and Heka.

Sia was the power of perception or insight which allowed the creator to visualize other forms.

Hu was the power of authoritative speech which enabled the creator to bring things into being by naming them.

In coffin text spell 335 Hu and Sia are said to be with their father Atum every day. In illustrated underworld books of the new Kingdom these two deities were often shown accompanying the creator sun God.

The power by which thoughts and commands of the creator become reality was Hekka or magic. In coffin tech spells 261 the God Heka claims to have been with the creator even in the primeval era.

In the cosmology of Neith this goddess creates the whole world with seven magic words.

When Auset came to be worshipped as a creator deity during the same. She was called mistress of the word in the beginning.

From at least as early as the new Kingdom the God Ptah could represent the creative mind then Sia and Hu were identified as the heart and tongue of Ptah. This concept is expounded in the Memphite theology and in the various hymns of Ptah. The ancient Egyptians believe that the heart was the organ of thought and feeling.

Ptah was said to have made the world after planting it in his heart. It was through what the heart plans and the tongue commands that everything was made.

Bible account “In the begin was the word, and the word was God and God was the word.”

According to Bambara  legend, in the beginning there was nothing but the emptiness of the void. The universe began from a single point of sound—the sound Yo. Everything—including human consciousness—came from this root sound. Yo—the primeval creative spirit—created the structure of the heavens, the Earth, and all living and nonliving things

Kemet is humanity’s oldest documented culture and the inspiration for everything associated with civilisation and human genius. Kemet is most commonly associated with Ancient Egypt. It is the civilisation that produced the pharaohs, the pyramids, the hieroglyphs and countless wonders that modern scientists, engineers and academics still do not understand. Unfortunately, most sources offering insight into Kemet are foreigners to the culture and are incapable of representing it accurately
Here are some notable misunderstandings about Kemet

Kemet was located where modern day Egypt is
Kemet has never been limited by geographical borders. Kemet is any land under the care of Kemetic people. While the Nile Valley region was the capital of Kemet and the seat of the Pharaoh, Kemet is a global culture with a historical presence on every habitable continent. Evidence of its global reach can be seen in the pyramids and other great structures across the world which are strikingly similar to structures found along the Nile Valley. Kemet is the mother culture to all cultures considered indigenous or native in the world. Evidence can be easily seen in the many common values, traditions and cultural expressions of indigenous cultures worldwide.

 Kemet is a dead civilization
Historically, Kemet was known worldwide for its mastery of nature and the stability of its civilisation. This stability and mastery enabled Kemet to amass great wealth as seen in the great monuments that are still standing after thousands of years of neglect and pillaging. This wealth attracted the envy of barbarian societies from the north and east where food and resources were scarce. These societies invaded and looted Kemet for thousands of years until the leaders of Kemet decided to abandon the Nile Valley and relocate and rebuild in other places in the world, primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa. To avoid attracting attention, Kemetic societies no longer constructs the large monuments as before, however the culture continues to be preserved intact.

Kemet was not an African Civilization
Now that modern science has agreed that humanity originated in Africa and concrete evidence of a civilisation preexisting Kemet cannot be shown, it should be obvious that the first humans created the first civilization all on the continent of Africa. However, a consistent effort has been made by the powers of the modern world to depict Kemetic Civilisation having Arab, Hebrew or even European origins. While the modern day “Egyptian” is more commonly of Arabian descent, this is the result of the aforementioned migration of Kemetic people away from the Nile Valley. There many clear connections between Kemetic Culture and the many African Cultures across the continent. Some of the most obvious connections are polytheism and Ancestor worship, both of which Arab cultures reject.

 Why is Kemet important?

Kemet is humanity’s first civilisation. It is the first organised system human beings used to separate ourselves from animal behavior. The goal of Kemetic Civilisation has always been to provide humanity with a model and a support system to live in harmony with nature and to advance towards the Divine World. With over 100,000 years of collective knowledge, Kemet stands as the most advanced and refined culture in human history. Under the majesty of Kemet, humanity prospered and nature was preserved. The scientific discoveries and technological advances of Kemet are still unmatched by modern societies and the spiritual understandings remain a complete mystery to outsiders. By contrast, what can we say about the modern alternatives?

“Humanity has continued its so-called ‘glorious progress’, pulled by the nose by a system that has become master in the art of fooling and manipulating people.  A materialistic philosophy had, in all logic, led to the constitution of a society with values based almost entirely on the appearance of things.  For individuals, emphasis of the superficial aspect of modern society threw away the depths and the essence of things themselves.  Time after time this system finds itself in absurd situations because the preceding logic on which it depends does not function anymore.  When this occurs, new ideas are very quickly injected by the holders of power or by leaders who desperately try to keep their heads above water.”
